Show season is an important part
of our shepherding calendar.
For us it has been a fast track method of
understanding the breed. The direct contact with other 'Lincoln' breeders, has proved to be an invaluable and unlimited resource of information.
Its
an all year round commitment with many ups, downs and expenses! However, after a
few years of dedication and a lot of time spent at the end of showlines
we are now achieving some excellent results.

We have had a great show season this year.
Our clipped ram 'Risby Cupid' got us off to a good start taking the 'reserve champion' title at Woodhall Spa along with the Canon JW Hanson Trophy.
He followed this by winning the breed championship at the 3 counties show at Malvern
The Lincolnshire Fleece Championship was won by a Risby Fleece
for the third consecutive year!
Our 'piece de resistance' of the season was one of our shearlings in full wool
